Fire Safety Courses
Providing employees with fire safety training is a legal requirement under Article 21 of the Fire Safety Order 2005.
Fire safety training provided to employees should:
a) include suitable and sufficient instruction and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employee in order to safeguard himself and other relevant persons on the premises;
(b) be repeated periodically where appropriate;
(c) be adapted to take account of any new or changed risks to the safety of the employees concerned;
(d) be provided in a manner appropriate to the risk identified by the risk assessment; and
(e) take place during working hours.
The Responsible Person must under Article 18 of the Fire Safety Order 2005 appoint one or more competent persons to assist him/her in undertaking the preventive and protective fire safety measures.
A person is to be regarded as competent for the purposes of this article where they have sufficient training and experience or knowledge and other qualities to enable them to properly to assist in undertaking the preventive and protective measures.
It is a legal requirement under Article 11 of the Fire Safety Order 2005 for all types of fire safety training to be recorded.

All courses are delivered in person at the customer premises and all equipment is provided.
